Lily Sabol
Lily is a second-year PhD student in the Biochemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology program at Georgetown's Medical School! She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Michael’s College in 2024. As an undergrad, Lily spent three years tutoring for biology and chemistry courses. She also works as a college admissions counselor, giving her extensive experience supporting and mentoring students. A fun fact about Lily is she ran her first marathon this past year and is currently training for an Ironman!

Spencer Andersen
Spencer is a senior studying Mathematics and Economics and is originally from Natick, Massachusetts. He has over seven years of tutoring experience across a wide range of math subjects, and is passionate about helping students build confidence and understanding. Spencer is proficient in French and loves teaching, finance, and traveling.

Math and Physics
Matteo Borrello
Matteo is a freshman majoring in Mathematics and Economics and is from Baltimore, Maryland. He lead his high school's peer math tutoring group and also tutored for his high school's physics group. Matteo is fluent in Italian and Spanish! In his free time, Matteo enjoys playing tennis, and also plays the trumpet in the Georgetown Jazz Ensemble.

Jiya Malhotra
Jiya is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Government. She is passionate about teaching and enjoys working closely with students. Jiya previously served as the Director of Northeastern Operations for Trumbull Tutoring, a community-based organization in her hometown dedicated to supporting students in their academic growth. She has also volunteered with HindiUSA, where she taught Hindi to students of various age groups. Outside of academics, Jiya enjoys dancing and playing ping pong!

Sophia Fish
Sophia is a sophomore majoring in Human Science and is from Long Hill, New Jersey. She has privately tutored algebra and chemistry since her sophmore year of high school. In her senior year, she also began tutoring biology through the National Honor Society program. Currently, Sophia serves as a Student Academic Mentor for the Human Biology course, where she teaches approximately 16 students weekly by reviewing lectures, clarifying difficult topics, and answering questions. Outside of academics, she enjoys spending time with her four dogs and exploring new places to eat in Washington, D.C.

Soren Shioda
Soren is a freshman majoring in Mathematics and Economics and is from Santa Rosa, California. He has a broad range of tutoring experience, including privately tutoring math and chemistry, teaching at a local learning center, and volunteering with his high school’s math department. Soren also organized and taught a nine-week Spanish learning program for elementary school students, demonstrating his ability to teach engaging lessons for learners of all ages.

Sean Clavadetscher
Sean is a junior majoring in Mathematics and is from Chicago, Illinois. He has experience as a teaching assistant for college-level calculus courses, privately tutored elementary and high school math, and has taught at a STEM camp for middle school students. Sean is passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.

Biology and Chemistry
Brennan Moore
Brennan is a junior majoring in Human Science and is pre-med. Brennan has served as a teaching assistant for Georgetown’s Anatomy & Physiology class and spent this past summer teaching a Health Literacy course to adult immigrants in Anchorage, Alaska. He has been an EMT since age 16 and has taught multiple eight-week first aid classes through his high school. Brennan also conducts research on specific proteins at Georgetown Medical School.

Erica Lung
Erica is a junior majoring in International Economics with a minor in Statistics and is from Brooklyn, New York. She has experience as a teaching assistant for Principles of Macroeconomics and as a tutor at the Math Academic Center, where she helps her fellow Georgetown students. Erica is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese!

Bella Choi
Bella is a junior majoring in Business and Global Affairs with a minor in Mathematics and is from the Bay Area, California. She has teaching experience as a Summer teaching assistant with Peninsula Bridge for two summers in high school, as an English tutor for two years, and as a teaching assistant for multiple business classes. Bella is fluent in Korean and enjoys dancing, participating in one of Georgetown’s dance groups on campus.

Cameron Worden
Cameron is a senior majoring in Mathematics and Economics and is from Syracuse, New York. He previously served as Director of Training at Hoyalytics (a Georgetown professional club), where he taught coding in Python and R. Cameron is proficient in French and Italian!
